Hi All,
I am currently in US on B-2 visa. It is 10 years ME. I am basically a medical doctor from India. I also have Masters degree from IIT. Given a good educational background I also have couple of years working history in India.
I came to US last year for a conference and stayed here 3 months then I went back to India and came back after 2 months. They gave me 6 months at PoE. During my stay here I got admission in Full time Masters program in a reputed university. University is giving me scholarship too.
I spent my time in US by travelling and visiting friends.
My question is if I go back to India for F-1 stamping, what are my chances of getting it approved. Would they be suspicious about my stay here totalling 9 months in past one year.
Just in case my F-1 gets rejected, would that automatically cancel my B-2.
Instead of going to India, can I go to Mexico or Canada.
Please let me know if this could be an issue.
Thanks
