Just curious about the following - any info. would be appreicated:

1. Anyone know anybody that had 485 denied?? If yes, reasons.
2. Anyone travel on AP that got 485 later approved through 245i??
3. Anyone know of what hapd. to proposed law to extend 245i to April 2002. It was supposed to have been passed on 9/11/01 - but didn't because of what hapd. that day.
4. How come TSC is approving 485's as late as 7/02 RDs.

The tariff bill? The Hawley-Smoot Tariff Act? Which, anyone? Raised or lowered? ...raised tariffs, in an effort to collect more revenue for the federal government. Did it work? Anyone? Anyone know the effects? It did not work, and the United States sank deeper into the Great Depression. Today we have a similar debate over this. Anyone know what this is? Class? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone seen this before? The Laffer Curve. Anyone know what this says? It says that at this point on the revenue curve, you will get exactly the same amount of revenue as at this point. This is very controversial. Does anyone know what Vice President Bush called this in 1980? Anyone? Something-d-o-o economics. "Voodoo" economics.
 
Thanks for the ECO101 lesson, however, you failed to answer any questions. do you know why the chicken crossed the road....... a hedge*** was after it........:D

Anyhow, ANYONE want to shed some light on the original? Unfortunately, Chicken 65 learnt too much economics and fried its little brain:D
