There have been some Supervisor and Assistant Center Director changes during May. The ACDs changes involve the following Divisions:

Division IV Lu Goodman
Division V Geoff Verderosa
Division VI Ronald E. Johnson
Implementation of the new call centers
The switch to the National Customer Service Center has been delayed. It is anticipated that the CSC INSDirect system will direct callers to the NCSC, (800) 375-5283, in June 2003. As of the present date the CSC has been able to answer the NCSC e-mail within 15 days.
DIVISION I (I-131, I-140, I-485, I-526, and I-529)
Processing of I-765s and I-131’s filed with Concurrently filed I-140/I-485: How are these cases being handled by the CSC. What is the impact on processing I-131s and I-765s submitted with concurrently filed I-140s/I-485s in the following situations:

DIVISION II (I-102, I-129, I-539)
General Update on Division II.

The center is continuing to work to reduce processing times in the non-immigrant categories and some workloads will be shifted to address the backlogs.
DIVISION IV (SAW, I-765, I-817, TPS, N-400, Legalization)
Update on the progress of center's taskforce working to reduce pending I-765 applications. Please confirm that the local BCIS offices have been advised of the backlog to assist applicants in obtaining interim EADs.
The taskforce is going well. The center is currently meeting weekly production goals. The local BCIS offices are aware of the CSC's backlog and their role in providing interim EADs.
