Look like CSC people will see bunch of approvals soon.

Also, like VSC will CSC start approving JUNE/JULY 2002 cases as their finger prints are not expired?

Lets see what happens... The Saga continues ...

Dint see that mentioned any where on that link!

For those too lazy to click
The CSC stated that it expects to bring the Form I-485 Application to Adjust Status to within one year. The CSC stated that additional resources have been dedicated to this initiative.
But you have a chance to make a difference by petitioning your Congressman to bug INS for you. Please help in the fax campaigns.

According to VSC :

The VSC stated that many of the older Form I-485 applications are requiring re-fingerprinting and thus it is putting those cases on hold while re-fingerprinting occurs. Therefore, later cases filed in March and April of 2002 may be adjudicated before the older cases because re-fingerprinting is not required in those later cases.

We should get these CSC's statements through Congressional offices.
Let's send your letter to ask Senators or Congressperson to urge Don Neufeld, Director of CSC, to allocate resources dedicated to EB I-485.

murthy.com has the same to say

"Processing Time Reductions

The CSC predicts that, over the next six months, they will reduce the processing times for I-485s to within one year. They have allocated additional personnel to this task. The current processing times as published by the CSC show close to a
two-year backlog. Reducing the processing times will require an enormous effort on the part of the CSC. We welcome an improvement in this area, but have seen many such promises go unfulfilled in the past. Additionally, if Service Center employees are merely being reassigned to work on the backlog, they are not
processing some other type of case. What the Service Centers need are sufficient resources to process all cases in a timely manner, rather than merely shifting people from processing one category of cases to another.

If the promised reduction becomes a reality, we should see a flurry of case decisions over the next few months. Processing times should show substantial forward movement as well. "
