CSC JIT Date Wrong!

I asked my lawyer to do an enquiry as to why my case is not touched (March 8, 02) when the CSC JIT date moved to April, 2002.

BCIS Customer Service Rep told her that the JIT date on website was a mistake and is still at March 1, 2002!!

I guess people did too many fax enquiries that they got scared :) But its bad news for march filers !!
 
As if it really matters what date the JIT is at, INS will process as and when it pleases. Yeah feels good to have the JIT move but we are all aware of the inconsequence of this move.

Do you trust your lawyer or website. You may make enquiry yourself. Do not request them to revert the date. It so frustating to see over 2 year backlog on the website. Just let the April,02 on the website. Atleast we have a feeling that JIT date is moving at snail pace, but it is moving.

Guys - Pls dont call them ask to revert back the date to March'01 :p

I absolutely donot want them to revert it. I told my lawyer to make an enquiry as JIT moved. She said, she can not make an enquiry as the cust. svc rep told her that the date on website is incorrect.
And I donot think BCIS wants to revert back. They want to show they are moving. I think the reason they might have decided to say that it is incorrect is probably because they are overwhelmed with fax enquiries of all those people who filed before April.
 
IIO system is not update yet

It will be in sync and updated to 04/15. This is the same reason that I was rejected after I spent 30+ minutes this morning to call IIO and the officer said she could not do an enquiry for my case since what she saw from her system, the I-485 processing date was still 04/05/02. What a joke.
 
Yes the IIO system was not updated today morning. I tried again in the afternoon and it was updated by then. They took my request for a status enquiry and said i should hear something in the next 3 -4 weeks. Don't just depend on your lawyer. Do everything you can to get ur approval. THE LAWYER HAS NOTHING TO GAIN. YOU HAVE EVERYTHING TO LOSE.
 
Thanks. Just called again and enquiry sent.

This time IIO was a gentleman and he said currently JIT time for I-485 is 04/15/2004, so he went ahead and sent the enquiry for me. Not sure whether it will work, but it is one of the last thing I can do.
