CSC I485 backdated to 1/1/98 ????

I had my I140 approved from VSC. I am planning to give SF as my permanent address ? Can anyone shed some light on the implication wrt to the new backdated dated of CSC ?

but, it is not good to assume the JIT is in error. maybe it is right afterall. but then maybe not. so ask your attorney what his recommendation is - they attend the AILA meetings and they should know about the status better than us...

I can almost confirm that ther eis no error because I was told by a "Person" an IIO that the current processing date is Jan \'98

does not matter..they dont have enough cases for 98 and 99 pending..things should not delay more than 2-3 months...thanks

Check the posting by magu. There are atleast 60 cases pending with ND/97 - ND/9/99 especially in EB3(as per Ciba\'s website). EB2 people should be fine. We\'ll get a better picture in the next JIT report.
