    CSC EB I485 Tracking Weekly (02/27/01)

  CSC EB I485 Tracking Weekly (02/27/01)

Twenty-seven (27) new cases were added to this edition for a total of 870
entries. For approvals, a solid amount of 14 approvals were posted since
last Tuesday\'s update:

 vidur (ND 09/99);
 rbkumar (ND 09/99);
 SK (ND 12/99);
 Rosy (ND 01/00);
 vickeym (ND 06/00);
 immi (ND 08/00);
 gcwaiting (ND 08/00);
 singhdj (ND 09/00);
 Amy (ND 09/00);
 csc_victim (ND 09/00);
 riyer (ND 10/00);
 cscind (ND 11/00);
 SC708 (ND 11/00);
 lvi (11/00);

The latest ND approval has moved not only by one month but two months to
November, 2000. This is great news for all CSC waiters. Since finger prints
activities are also picking up (ND as recent as 01/01 have received FP
notices), those filed in October 2000 or later have reasons to feel
promising.

There is a very special case, SC708\'s approval, in this edition that
deserves our attention. For those unfamiliar with his case, SC708 went
to San Jose office to request another notice immediately after knowing
that his FP was rejected by FBI. His case was then approved three weeks
after the clearence of the second FP. Had he not gone to San Jose for
another FP notice, the approval would not have been possible. The important
step SC708 takes is very exciting and should give CSC folks a strong
incentive to take matters into their own hands to initiate whatever
steps necessary to push up their cases.

Finally, magenta color in the lists highlighting non-current PDs is
updated according to March visa bulletin.

The only reason I can think of for RFE for someone who has stamped
passport is the photos.
