Hi all
    We got the approval notice for both of us in the mail on Feb 3 2001.
EB2 RIR, India
CSC , WAC-00-258-xxxxx
PD SEP 98
RD for 485- Aug 2000
RD - SEP 08 2000
FP - DEC 14 2000 for spouse and me(we checked with FBI 2 weeks later, the FP had been cleared on the same day)
Ignored 2nd FP notice on Jan 16
AD- Jan 29 2001
Recvd courtesy copy-Feb 3 2001
No EAD,AP
      There were some inevitable delays during the whole process. The CSC tracker has given us invaluable data for number crunching all the while !!

DID YOU CALLED IIO BEFORE YOUR APPROVAL WHAT DID HE OR SHE SAID..LIKE ASSIGNED TO OFFICER ETC

Well, we did call in mid Jan to ask what to do about our 2nd FP notice. The IIO said that our prints were already in the computer on Jan 1 (for me) and Jan 9(for spouse)-- she spoke to me about my petition and to my spouse about hers. She said "no" when i asked if the case had been assigned to any officer yet.
    This may be extra proof that Ravi2000 \'s note about FP in primary / sec systems is right . Coz the FBI said our FPs were with INS on Dec 14 but INS records said Jan 1 . So i deduce the file was assigned and cleared in very lil time but am sure my call had nothing to do with it.
