CSC I-485 ** Approvals** in May 2003

Please add any new CSC I-485 approvals to this thread. Post only approvals to this thread so that it can be used (kind of data/summary tracking) to see recent approvals.

If you see any CSC I-485 approval any where on this board please post it to this thread with all the info (if it is not already posted to this thread). Please follow below guidelines while posting.
1. In the subject line, give it running serial number, member name (that got approved), and the subject line.
2. Entire text of their approval message (cut and paste including headers)
3. Please also provide a Link to that aproval thead/post (it helps a lot in maintaining summary as well as users can goto that thread to ask questions).

Also refrain from any other discussion (apart from just posting CSC I-485 approvals) in this thread so that we can keep it lean.

I-485 approved!!!
My I-485 was approved on May 5th. It took me more than three years for the whole process. I'd like to thank all the freinds on this board for your valuable info and support.

Hello Guys,

I am a silent visitor of this web site for the past 4 years ever since my labor cert. was initiated back in 1999.
Although at times, I posted a couple of questions
now & then.

Any way here are the details.

WAC -02 -035 -5XXXX

RD - OCT 10 2001
ND - NOV 9 2001
FP - MARCH 21 2001 ( SAN JOSE)
RFE - APRIL 14 2003
RFE RD- MAY 7 2003
AD - MAY 12 2003 ( AS PER WEB SITE)

It's just a coincidence that I went to Sanjose INS yesterdy to get my i-EAD & the website says that my I-485 was approved yesterday only.!!!!!!!!

Thought myself, a days notice in advance would have saved my trip to San jose INS.

Hang in there & every body is going to get their turn.

Finally Approved

Finally got approved on May 10th, received approvals this weekend. It took around 4 years for the entire process, Started labour in Non RIR, EB3 in August 1999.
Interviewed at INS Sacramento on Feb 25th 2003 and was asked to submit a letter from current employer for AC21.
Thanks to everyone for answering my questions especially to Vipsha. Good Luck to everyone and have faith in God, Shirdi Saibaba is great!!!

Hi all,
I-485 approved finally. Here are the details:
ND: Sep 14 2001
RFE:Oct 14 2002
RFE Responded: Dec 27 2002
Case Approved: May 15 2003

RFE was for 3 recent pay stubs, Tax returns for 2001 and w2 for 2001.
I had changed jobs 2 times after 180 days. Still waiting for my wife's approval.

RFE : 7/02 (3 years Tax, 3 months Pay stubs)
Rfe reply : 7/02
Ead Extn : 11/02.
Temp EADs from Newark Feb 2003.
Case Transfered to Newark March 2003.
Received Interview Letter April 2003.
Interview 5/20/2003.

For the interview my lawyer could not come from CA.
So went without representation.

Interview was at newark.
Reached 970 broad street office at 9.30am for 10.30am interview.
Reached 13th floor, counter 2.
Signed the interview letter stating no attorney.
Wife did the same thing.

At 10.28am officer called us. Did index finger stamping and signature.
Then led us to his cubicle. Took the Oath.
After oath he opened my file. Asked about my co. Asked do they have an office in NJ. Said I am at clients place.
Told the work location. Officer asked about pay-stubs or latest employment letter. Gave employment letter.
Employment letter had exact labor filling details specifically pay.
Officer verified the original and kept in his file.
Then he asked that when I filed for my GC I was in H1 status.
Asked for last h1. He verified the original. After verifying the original he verified that the 485 was filed before H1 expried.


And then the magic words "I am going to stamp your passports with I-551 stamp and you will get your Green cards in 4-5 months in the mail"
Wife's case also approved. Passports stamped.

Then he took our temp EAD cards, Advance parole.
He did not even ask for medicals (medicals were asked in the interview letter).

The officer was very straight forward. Took 2 seconds to come to a decision after seeing H1 and 485 dates.

The entire agony of GC (Started GC Jan 99 - Stamped GC on PP May 2003) was over in five minutes.

Special thanks to all the CSC members for keeping us motivated, time and again while going thru real rough times.
(485 freeze)

Sillyman/Anyone .... GC approved need help.

Hi
I have got my GC approval letter, but have a quick question.

I am working right now in dallas and would it be possible for me to get my GC stamped in dallas service center or nearby service center instead of going to CA.

Also, my wife is going to india on her AP which is approved until Sep 7th ... Can she come back and get a GC stamped. Can you please suggest or point me to any links

Good News to share. Me and my wife got approved on May 23rd.
I got RFE for last 2 years W2 and EVL on Apr 22nd. It took only 2-3 weeks after RFE was applied.

Pls let me know the Documents to carry for Stamping to SF Office.
They mentioned list of Documents in the approval letter, but Additional suggestions would be useful.
