CSC Fingerprint issue- UnitedNations any comments?

On 1-April-2005 I did my fingerpriting.On my fingerprint notice the Application number is given as WAC050xxxxxxx(this is the I-485 application I concurrently filed on 2nd December-2004).

Today I received following email from USCIS automated system that my fingerprint results were received for the WAC04xxxxxxx(this is the I-485 application I concurrently filed in Februray-2004 and I guess it must have got denied since my I-140 was denied).

"On April 13, 2005, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

So it appears that they have fingerprinted me for case filed in December-2004 and updated the results for case filed in February-2004.

Has anyone observed this before?

It happened to me too!!!!

I had a I-485 filed in APR 2002 which was subsequently withdrawn/cancelled. I did file a conc I-140/I-485 in JUL 2004 and USCIS sent a Bio-FP notice for this I-485.

However, after the FP it is my OLD case which is updated not the Current one. GC-GUY pl let us know what happened when you finished talking to the 1-800 Customer Support #

My lawyers will make an inquiry on this subject and I will update you the results.

Whats the status of your case? Is your I140 approved?

As per USCIS Officer, it doesnt matter even if FP results are attached to old case, they will consolidate all the files at the time of processing the case.
