Do you know is renewal AP gets approved faster than first time applicants? I was a first time applicant. Thanks.

No word yet - so we're about to cancel our plans to fly home for Christmas. Total bummer.
However, the online status hasn't been changed. It was actually approved on Dec 8 and sent out on Dec 19.Nora&Simon said:Hey there - my husband e-filed his I-131 and had a receipt date of October 3 - with a confirmation number of WAC0680000***

It seems to me that your husband's 485 is a family based GC application. That's why you may have to send the Advance Parole application to National Benefit Center. If this is true, I am not sure you will receive your AP today. At the beginning, I though your case number is WAC060085****, which has one day earlier Notice Date than mine, so I guessed you would receive it in serveral days.Nora&Simon said:didn't read your e-mail correctly. so you're saying we could get it in the mail today or tomorrow, but it won't be updated online. thanks for sharing your experience with us.
hope ours arrives today! it's too big of a risk to take to leave the country without having it in hand, but we'll feel like shooting ourselves if it comes in the mail the day after we cancel our flights!

My husband entered on a K-1 in August 2004 and we applied to adjust his status by filing the I-485 in September 2004. We live in New York, but received an NOA in September 2005 stating that our case had been moved to the California Service Center. Odd.
In any event, I guess ours will be delayed. : (
Thanks again for sharing your experience and posting the information on CSC processing timelines. Pretty cool that you were able to scan so many cases. I tried that once - but they locked me out because they said my IP address wasn't authorized to view so many cases!
