Crossing the 180 day mark tomorrow

My I-485 ND is 08/21/02. So, I am crossing another milestone tomorrow (which is very important step) i.e the 180 th day on I-485. I see no sign of the sponsoring employee (prospective) having any thoughts of withdrawing the approved I-140 until this moment. That's a good sign. Looking forward for the next step (RFE) which I think is inevitable in the present atmosphere. My only hope is that the case doesn't get transferred to local INS office for some reason or other since mine is a pretty straight forward case.

It's strange that we are betting our lives, our career and future on a daily basis.

Hi gcard2002,

Have you changed the job or planning to change after 180 days?
Which center / city you are in? You have any thoughts about I140 revoke? How many days it take or Ho INS view it?

Thanks

I am currently working for a company since 4 years but the GC was filed by another prospective employer. I am starting to be on the sponsoring employers payroll this month i.e after 180 days. I will stick with the sponsoring employer as long as I can and if the job is not stable, I can always come back to the current employer who is always supportive.

I did not doubt at anytime that my I-140 will be revoked but I would rather believe in crossing hurdles legally (180 days) than trust someone totally.
