I am an Indian citizen and my company filed an application for me under EB-3 with a Priority Date of October 2009. My I-140 has been approved and I'm in the long wait until my PD is current. But I am getting married in a few months to an EU citizen and was wondering what the best course of action would be for me in this case.
1. Is there a way to apply cross-chargebility to I-140 applications? Can it be applied even though the I-140 has already been filed and approved?
2. Should I get my company to file my I-140 again? This time with the cross-chargeability applied under EU?
3. Unrelated note.. but could someone point me to posts in this forum or guide me in deciding if its a good idea to change employers when I've already run out of my 6 years on an H-1 and am dependant on only 1-year extensions. (Is one year enough time to file a new GC application with a new company?)
