Criteria for 140/485 concurrent approval

Gurus,

What do you think is the criteria NSC is using when processing concurrent filed 140/485s on whether approving just the 140 or both 140 and 485?

I've been seeing in this forum that we have both cases. Even when PD are current, we still see only 140 approval on concurrently filed applications.

Do anyone know what criteria they are using? Any guesses?

This is my understanding after beeingn ontis form. NSC was not working inthe past. But some how for the last one month NSC is on the track and they are following certain criteria. These are my 2 cents

EB2:-

1) if the PD is of 2000 or 2001 or 2002 and 140/485 ND is from 2003, They are approving concurrent.
2) If the PD is of 2003 and 140/485 ND is of 2003 then they are approving just 140.

EB3 {for retorgressed applicants}:-

1) if the PD is current they are approving 140/485 irrespective of 140/485 ND
2) if the PD is not current , approving 140 for 2003 and 2004.

for sure they are concentrating more on EB2 and Current PD Applications.

As I said... these are my 2 cents and people can Speculate their own.

not really plastic card i have seen concurrent approvals for bigbadwolf and stonewall applied in 2004 . one of their pds was also in 2003.

i would for a few weeks or may be a month or so and look for the 485 approval. i think you are close.

I have PD Jan 2002 not affected by retrogression, and RD of Jan 2004.
Acconding to Plasticcard I should had a concurrent approval but only got the 140 so far...

Did you guys hear about 140 approval and then 2-4 weeks later getting 485s?

I didn't know that bigbadwolf got concurrent approval. Great news !
