I am a US Citizen and I recently married a Canadian Citizen. We are getting ready to submit I485 for adjustment of status. However, he has multiple criminal records. One conviction resulted when he was 21, the other 2 occured when he was a minor. He was granted a pardon for his crimes, which I know that the US goverment does not recognize foreign pardons. My spouse is now 42 and has rehabilitated himself, so all the criminal records had occurred more than 15 years prior to the adjustment of status application.
I read that multiple crimes of moral torpitude are grounds for exclusion. Can my spouse apply for a waiver in conjunction with the I485 form, and EAD?
