Criminal Record while Pending I-485 (repost)

so yes, i was arrested two years ago for lewd conduct, my lawyer entered a plea for trespassing, and now suffering while awaiting for my GC.

I am anticipating a DENIAL since they rarely deny a case unless you have a criminal record and two other reasons which i forgot.

They receiced my 485 last sept 5. I am sure a lot of you are on the same date.

so my questions is ...

Do i need to prepare anything while anticipating my denial?

Is anybody here has a similar case that was APPROVED?

Has anybody received anything with the same date as mine?

Do you guys know any good if not the best attorney to handle my case?

ANy advice that would help my situation I would appreciate it.

If you have been charged with misdemeanor and your case is still pending with the court then most probably they will send you or your lawyer a NOID (Notice of Intent to Deny).

If your case has been dismissed then they might call you for an interview and find out what happened to your case. It will totally on the immigration officers discretion whether to approve or deny your case.

Hire a very competent lawyer who knows the nitty gritties of such type of cases.

the case was two years ago and brought down to trespassing. it was later expunge, which does not really help when it comes to immigration matters.

1. You need to hire a good immigration lawyer who knows how criminal charges affect immigration.

2. Were you convicted? What was the sentence?

3. You will definitely be called for an interview. You should have the police incident report and court disposition letter.

1. there are so many lawyers here in california, i don't know how to begin choosing, i have a lawyer right now who prepared my 485 but i don't really know how good he is. any recommendation, i would appreciate it.

2. arrested for lewd conduct, my lawyer that time who is different from who i have now, entered a plea for trespassing and was granted.

3. what is the basis for you saying that i will be interviewed? from experience or someone you know personally.
