criminal history record needed?

Hi friends,

Now I am preparing for GC for my mother. I just wonder if I should ask her to provide criminal history record in the application document? As she said, that record is not mandary, I am a little confused. Anyone can give me a clear answer that criminal record is must for parents GC application? Thanks a lot.:confused:

I read the same line and did not include the criminal history in my app.

From reading other parent posts, the only time criminal history is needed is if there are problems with the fingerprints/background check. In that case, USCIS will send an RFE.
