Criminal background check

I lived in Dubai more than ten years ago. The process of applying for a background check there is so vague and full of holes that it's arguably impossible to expect it to work.

So now I'm wondering what happens if I go ahead and apply for the K1 without getting the background check from there?

The US Embassy will not asked you about your UAE foreign clearance and I'm sure that they know about the procedure in acquiring UAE Clearance.
