Hi,
Can you please advise on this? I will be very grateful!
I did a summer internship on CPT. My CPT end date was Aug 10 and my internship was supposed to end on the same date.
One week before that I asked my manager if I could work for "two more" weeks and he said yes (my next semester was not starting till September 3).
"So I worked for two weeks beyond my CPT expiration date"
At that time I did not realize this, but now I know that I should have applied for CPT extension "before" continuing work.
How much of a problem is this?
Should I just forget about it or do something to have this corrected?
I am back to school now and everything seems normal but could this come up as a problem in the "future"?
I did get paid for the two additional so "I think" it would be easy for "them" to verify that I worked beyond my CPT expiry date.
Please advise me. I will be very grateful!
Thanks a lot!
