CPT Work Authorization crossed Please help

I am Currently on F 1 Visa status and been doing an internship since Last summer that is (June 2008) and still have not completed my Master's.
I am facing the issue that last year when I jpined the company on CPT , My internship Start date was entered as June 16 th 2008 on my I-20 and Work authorization , However since there was an urgent requirement at the team I started work on12 th june 2008 thinking I was allowed to do so since I already ahd my new I-20 withme. Now it seems that it has been a violation of work permit and that just for two days of work on 12 and 13 june I would be under some Status issue. Please could someone explain to me what issues have arised here, as I honestly thought I was allowed to work then and how and when it would affect me. Would it affect my current F-1 status?
Also my payroll started from 12june2008 and dont know whether I can change that with the company.
Please advice as I really need to look into thi smatter immediately.

I have no intention to advise on anything illegal, but I will tell you that since this is in the PAST, there is nothing more you can do at this point unless you have a time machine. Your status is not "automatically" canceled because of that, and I think you are smart enough not to walk into your university DSO and tell them what happened.

Don't go asking your company to change their records either. It's illegal and will only raise red flags. That will also be evidence of fraud.

Immigration rules is harsh, and it doesn't matter what you honestly thought or what the circumstances was at the time. So your best policy is not to tell anyone. Again, not trying to advocate on anything illegal here, but it is a done deal and there is nothing you can do about it.
