Meaning of CP and AOS

CP stands for Consular Processing which means that you would pursuit the whole application/paperwork and interview trough the local US embassy in your country.

AOS means ADjustment Of Status this applies for people currently living in the US, however people who overstayed visas be carefull with the 3 and 10 year bars.
