CP to AOS

What is the procedure to transfer from CP to AOS assuming I have filed I-140 with CP option in scenarios

1) I-140 pending
2)I-140 approved and is there anytime BEFORE NVC takes action that the transfer from CP to AOS has to happen?

How long does it take Chicago DOL recently to approve I-140 CP ?

Answer: You have to wait for I-140 to be approved to request a change unless you originally opted for AOS and USCIS by mistake change it to CP.

Answer: Normally case is transferred to NVC from USCIS after I-140 approval in about 4 weeks or less. So basically there is no set time limit to change to AOS from CP. I would imagine any time prior to getting cp interview is a good enough time to revert back to AOS. But after I140 approval and sooner the better!

How long does it take Chicago DOL recently to approve I-140 CP ?
Answer: Depends on your EB category and service center. I am assuming EB2 and Nebraska Service center which would take about 9 months.

I also thought of doing that.
my attorney told me they can send theammendment, but i thought it might affect adversly the processing of I140. so i am quiet until my I-140 gets approved, and will rethink that later.
did you take the opinion of ur lawyer.if so pass me his advice.
