Hi All
Can you please reply to my below questions?

1) Can I travel anytime in and out of US after I FILE FOR CP (after I-140 is approved) assuming I have a valid H1B status?
2)Can I travel anytime in and out of US when my I-140 IS IN PROGRESS assuming that I have a valid H1B status?
3)Can I bring in my wife on a H4 assuming that I have a valid H1B status and my CP has been filed (with I-140 approved) and pending?
4) When should I GET MARRIED for my wife to also be able to apply for Permanent Residency through CP with me as a primary on CP? I heard that rule is I get married BEFORE I ENTER US and my wife's CP is APPROVED(with me as the primary) at consulate. Also I could marry JUST BEFORE the interview and then add my wife into my CP along with me in the interview or ask her to appear for a separate interview before I enter US with my approved GC. Please clarify whether my understanding is correct
5)How soon should I enter back into US after my CP is approved?

Thanks

Answer: Yes. And then you will need to include her on your GC process. Sooner the better

Answer: Again the sooner you get married the better and easier it will be for you and your to-be wife. The only hurdle is that if you get married and then file for your wife's CP then it will easily take 5+ years. So the latest you can get married to avoid the 5+ year thing is before your cp interview and be in a position to show your marriage certificate at the time of your interview and request the consular officer to schedule an interview for your wife which normally takes upto 60 days from the time of your cp interview. For this you will need to fill out ds 230 part 1 for your wife ...get her to sign it and return to the consular officer on the day of your interview. Again the sooner you get married easier it will be for you and your wife!

How soon should I enter back into US after my CP is approved?
Answer: Within 180 days from the date of cp approval date. Again sooner the better .... I stayed for 5 more weeks after my cp approval date and had no questions asked.
