CP questions for newbee

Got I-140 approved in VSC. Indicated AOS but want to switch to CP due to excessive delay of I-485. Please help.

1. Can I do AC140 in Montreal with I-824 receipt ?
2. Have already got EAD/AP. Are they still valid? Can they be renewed?
3. I-824, once filed, can I change mind and withdraw it?
