Hi Alren, Raju, VM1214 and other seniors,

I had applied for AC140 at Mumbai consulate. Recd case no on 7/29/04.

When I checked with the Consulate last week they said to expect interview in Oct. and asked me call after Sept.12.

When I called them last night I was told the interview has not been scheduled yet and they had sent me a letter. They did not give me any more info on the letter. What could this mean? Is this packet 4 or something else?

{{ I don't think it is P4 because P4 contains the appointment letter and your interview is not yet scheduled. As your case was received on 07/29 it is high time at mumbai consulate to schedule your interview. So there could be something missing so wait till you receive the letter from the consulate.}}}

What I am saying is speculation. It looks like the consulate needs some information from you that was missing in the original docket. Wait for this
letter to reach you. In the meanwhile, you may try one more time by giving
them an email asking for information on this .
