CP on F-1 question ?

Hi !
i am not sure if this is the right board but decided to ask since there
are so many CP experts here. Did any of you decide to do CP (for yourself or spouse) while being on F-1 ? Are there any risks associated with it considering F-1 is non immigrant visa ?

any comments would be helpful.

I did CP while my wife is on F-1. No problems at all. No questions asked either about the F-1 status. She came on a H-4 and converted to a F-1.
