My case has been forwarded to NWD on 11/14. Sent email to ivnd@state.gov. Reply was prompt, advising a probable late January interview. I will continue to post further proceedings.

We need a PCC issued for everybody older than 16years from the local/regional Indian Consulate. The whole thing takes 5 weeks.
First you have to send/present an application to the consulate with $20 for telex charges, also a photograph. You can download the Misc. services form from the consulate site.
They forward an inquiry to the native passport office and wait for 4 weeks, if no response comes from there then they issue the PCC and stamp the passport for the same. There is $20/person fee finally. You will have to call them up after 4-5 weeks to remind them or it could sit there..

I went to the Chicago consulate myself cause it was local. You can call up the appropriate consulate and find out.

My CP is falling under the new NVC procedure which was effective 10.01.02. I'm just curious to know how long did it take for your P3 to get reviewed at NVC. Mine already reached NVC on 12.06.02.

Would it be too optimistic to hope for a Feb (2003) End interview.

TIA !!
