Hello,

I am relatively new to this process, excuse my ignorance.
My 140 has been approved.

We do not have any vaccination records/reports.
(hum gav vala admi )
What vaccination records/reports required ?
Are there any mandatory vaccinations we have to take ?

Once packet 3 is forwarded to Consulate,
When do we need to go throuh medical examination ?

How much time does it take(interview date),
once 140 is approved. Approximate times please ?

Thank you,
Venkat

From gulli ka chokra to gav vala admi....

Neither did I have any records from India, but when I went to school in the US, I was required to (re)take all the shots and I collected records from there.

Ther medical requirements may vary from country to country (based on percieved risk of diseases in one area to another). I don't know about India but for Canada, here is a link to the medical requirements for US immigration. http://www.panelphysicians.com/Pages/Immunizations.htm

You can also get a blood titer test done to show immunity to the diseases for which immunization records are required - they are accepted in Canada when records are not available. Takes about 2-3 weeks though to get the results.

For Canada, from 1-140 to the interview takes about 4-6 months (more if there are complicating issues). But for Canada, the process is different, everything gets processed at NVC first before the interview whereas in India, NVC just forwards the file to the consulate post which then processes the file.
