CP medical from calcutta -any insights

Hi guys,
I am expecting my interview in january (not sure though as packet yet to reach mumbai).
I originally belong to calcutta and was wondering if I can get my photos & medicals done in some approved hospital in calcutta itslef. I don't know anyone in Mumbai and would prefer to have medicals etc done calcutta if possible. That way I can go to Mumbai just a day before the interview and can get medicals done in calcutta way ahead of time as I am planning to go for my vacation as well as CP interview together (I guess everyone does that!)
Do you guys a\have any info. regarding this?

I don't think you have a choice, you will have to visit a consulate approved doctor in Mumbai. You can do that a few days before your scheduled interview.
Photos you can get from almost anywhere if the photographer understands the immigration style photos.
