CP issue.. should I switch?

My I 485 has RD 02/23/03
FP done 03/21/03
I140 approved 04/16/03 EB2 RIR

Should I switch to CP? From what I read here, it looks that it takes around 8 months to get interview at Delhi?
I am not worried about losing job in next 6 months or going to India for doing the process.
What are pros and cons at this stage?
If I apply I824 , would I lose 485 for ever?
 
Yes... Recently (A few months ago) a rule was passed that said that once you opt for CP, your AOS will be terminated.

Analyze what is best for you accordingly. If you have clear paperwork... Then I would suggest a CP.... Verify whether Delhi accepts AC140... if yes then this could further expediate your process.
