CP Interview: Wifes nationality different than mine

My wifes nationality is not the same as mine. I have heard, due to which she would require an "Eagle check" done by the embassy where we are doing our CP interview. This could involve delays of upto 2 months or more after the interview is complete.


Does anyone know whether this information is correct ?

Is there any way i can avoid this problem ?
