CP Interview help -- Employment Letter

Hey guys,
Should the employment letter be signed by "Human Resources Manager" or is it okay to have "Engineering Manager" sign the paper. I am in a bit of bind as my Human Resources Manager is unable to get it notarized and I have the document signed and notarized by my manager.

Please let me know if this has any bearing on the visa? Please let me know your experiences.

My understanding is that the Instructions say that it should be from the employer which means it could be Human Resources or Engineering Manager.

Thanks.

letter head and notarization are important

Since this question has been popping up now and then I browsed the foreign affairs manual (which all consulate have to follow). It does not mention the designation of the officer. Company stationary and notarization seem to be essential. A link to that particular section is below for those who might want to get the letter content as per the FAM.

Letter

I did my CP recently and the employment letter was signed by my boss IS Director. My opinion is that it does not really matter as long as the letter is notarized.
