CP Interview Deferring, please reply..

Hello

I had a CP interview in December which I requested to be deferred as I wasn\'t in a position to travel in December. Chennai consulate asked me to write to them 2 months in advance of my travel plans. I wrote to them 2 days back asking for a February interview.

Has anyone done this before, are they prompt in rescheduling the interview? Please let me know..

I have seen posts earlier where this was done and it was rescheduled promptly by the Consulate. Even in the earlier cases the Cpers had to request the rescheduled interview two months in advance. Hope this helps.
 
Postponed interview date

My interview was on 27th Sept, and then I didn\'t wanted to travel at that time of uncertainity. So on 24th I asked them to change the date and they moved the date to November. they suggested a date at the counter on 24th Sept but when the dates were posted on website on 18th Oct they were different, three days earlier. This was from Delhi consulate.

So it is not a problem at all...

Postponed Chennai Interview

I had originally received a December interview date and since I had personal reasons to postpone the trip I requested chennai consulate by email to postpone the interview and they were very prompt and postponed the interview and asked me to contact them after Dec 15th.

Did you contact the Chennai consulate about ur postponed interview? I spoke to them about my original december interview which i requested to be postponed to February and they asked me to write 2 months in advance. I wrote to them early December and didnt get a reply.

I called them today and they say I wont know about February interview till Jan 15 as they request a new visa number for postponed intreviews also. I am not sure if they did and guess I wont know till January.

What was your experience, please reply..
