cp: hindi birth certificate ok?

hi,
i have CP interview scheduled for jUne. my birth certificate is in hindi. do i need to get a translation done or is this acceptable?

I think you need to get a certified translation.

I\'ve never done this but search on this board. Maybe you\'ll find similar experiences.

Well, I know one of my friend emailed Mumbai IV.
They told, make Affidavit in India. It will work.
So, translate it in English, and when you come to India, make it notarised with some notary in court. It will work.
