CP gurus help please

Hi Gurus,

My I-140 is approved and I am going CP path. I had applied for my 7th year extension of H-1 visa and it is approved till Fed 2005. I also applied for I-539 for my wife based on my 7th year extension papers. We are still to receive the approval. My question is what happens if we don’t get her I-539 approved by the time we get appointment for CP interview. I have I-539 receipt. Is there any way someone can expedite the I-539 process?

Your wife can attend the interview with the filing receipt for I-539. Though I
am not too sure when one is supposed to apply for the 7th year extension,
I am assuming that you would have done this in time.

She would not be required to carry the actual approval for this.

Yes my H-1 was expiring on Feb 08th 2004. I applied for my extension and got it approved on Nov 2003. Then I applied for my wife's I-539 on Jan 27 2004 about 10 days before expiring. Hope that is ok.
