I have paclet-3, doing CP in Bombay. My company attorney says, it needs to be sent to NVC.

1. How much time does it take in NVC nbefore they would send it to Bombay Consulate. If I sned p3 to NVC within a week by what time shall I expect interview at Bombay Consulate.

2. I am getting married on 22nd of this April in India. I havenot added her name in packet-3 b\'coze my fiance doesnot have any documents (no passport, no birth cert. yet)

3. I am sure my interview would be after me getting married, so if I know correctly, I can add her after my interview is done, and she shouldnot have any problem. is this correct.

4. If she does get her passport in a month or two, Would I be able to send p3 for my wife directly to Bombay Consulate even before my interview is scheduled, or I will have to wait for my interview to get scheduled before I can send her p3 to Bombay, or I will have to wait until I finish my interview.

Pl. guide me thru this gurus....

If you send your P3 say in next

week, we are looking at July or August for your interview at Mumbai.

You have 2 options. You can wait until ur marriage, then add your wife in P3 and send it to NVC. (getting a new passport is very fast these days in India)

if i am not mistaken , i read in this forum, some one added spouse at the time of interview i.e. just fill in the P3 and bring the required documentation at the time of nterview for spouse. Do a search on this forum to read that.

Your can add your spouse after interview but before your POE to USA..

You fience can get passport in a week if you show evidence that you are getting married to her (your wedding card and affidevit from your or her parents) and reason explanation letter why you need passport urgently (preferably if you are from India you can contact brokers and spend some money). Please keep in mind you can not add her to your green card if you entered USA after interview. You have to tell in interview you got married or getting married status.
