First of all I would not depend on CP process if that is taking you into next fiscal year
I have some doubts strengthened by state dept. visa bulletin that there might be visa numbers might retrogress. You are planning for a year now. if you know for sure that your CP invterview in 2003 fiscal year then you have to think about doing CP.
why not social marriage and register that, even though you live separately. people are doing that. that ofcourse, your personal decision.
