CP for TSC with substitute LC

Hi,

My company doesnt want to file I-485 along with my I-140 since I am using a substitued LC. Does it make more sense to opt for CP in chennai or wait till I-140 is approved and then file I-485. I still have two years left on my H1.

I need an answer ASAP, please help.

The chances for the I-140 approval are not affected by what the
3rd step ( AOS or CP) is going to be. May be your company is
worried about the filing fee for the 485.

If you have to wait for the I-140 approval before you can file for
485 then you will save lot of time by opting for CP.

Ask your company whether they would allow you to go for CP, and if they have no objection go for it.

Research the forums to know pros and cons of each of these
processes before you decide.
