CP for child living abroad. please help!!!!

Hello good people of this forum,this question has been on my mind for some

time now and i've been trying to find solution to it since i joined this forum.

i live in gemany with my wife and cp will be done in frankfurt. my 3 year old

child lives in Ghana. i called KCC and they said i should inform the CO about

my child during the CP . My question is should i go to frankfurt with my child's documents and passport?

Your 3 year old child lives in Ghana without parents?

I'm not sure if it is necessary to bring a 3 year old to the interview.
