CP Experts: R Birth Certificates from CGI (US) are valid for CP?

I\'ve Birth Certificates from Consulate General of India - NY with CPPs..Are these valid for CP or I should get from India?

Should be valid

What is CPPs ? Additionaly, you may want to take your school leaving certificate showing date of birth as well. I had a BC, but they still asked for my Xth std cert.
 
NOT VALID for CP...check IMMIHELP

US Consulates in India want BC from Municipality/corp or NON availabilty certficate from the same place( where u were born) and Affadavits of your parents.

CGI Bc\'s are not valid for CP in India. But the saem, are valid if u do AOS.

Better get originals from INDIA.....
