CP change of reisdence

Hi,

I am applying for CP in India. My permanent residence in India was relocated/moved from Hyderabad (Chennai jurisdiction) to Pune (Mumbai jurisdiction) over a year ago.

I changed my permanent address in my passport to the new Pune's address via Indian consulate in Chicago (after submitting the required evidence for this change).

Now can apply with AC-140 at Mumbai consulate based on the above history? Or will there be problems?

As long as your passport contains a pune perm address you should get your cp interview @bbay. Hence you should be able to apply for AC i-140.

But consult an attorney....
