CP and retrogression

i am new to the forum , i want to know if the CP has already been filed does it still get affected if the retrogresion takes place or not
also is required for 140 to be approved before CP can be filed or can one file 140/CP concurrently

If it is EB3 then it will affect retorgression.What is ur Caterogry? EB3 or Eb2?

mine is actually EB2, i my trying see/predict if EB2 gets hit later this year
, my question is that if CP is already filed and at a later stage retrogression hits EB2 so the CP already filed will stop getting processed or it won,t be affected be retrogression

Priority date should be current throughout the GC progress,

Yes... It happens to me They will complete all the processing and your application will sit in consulate.... Till the pd become current

If retrogression is happening to EB2 you will come to know at least a month before. If you feel unsafe at that time you can apply for AOS
