CP and degree requirement

Hello,

My CP application was forwarded to Chennai consulate early April'03 and I am awaiting an interview date.

I entered US on an F1 visa. I took up this job before completing all my Masters degree requirements (thesis defense), but was on status throughout. Does this lead to any complications with the CP interview? Would they demand my Master's degree certificate which I don't have? Is there a document or any thing I should have on me other than my Bachelor degree and Master's transcripts for the interview. My GC application is via EB3.

You should not have any problems...

Unless your labor certificate required a masters. I don't think DOL would have approved your case if that was the case; you are OK!

Thanks a lot. Yes it was for a position that needed just a Bachelors.
Anyways my worry was if they would raise questions regarding my non-completion of Master's given I was here on F1.

What do you think, especially considering post-sept11 and all that.. ?
