CP & 485 Question. Help needed..

Hi All, I have applied for 485 sometime back and I didn\'t get receipt for 3 months so I applied for CP. Now I got my EAD&AP and want to change comapny using 180 day rule. Would it be OK if I cancel CP and use 485 to join the new company using my EAD. I have read some where in this form that I-824 got approved even after sending the cancel request twice. What would be the case if that happens to me after changing the company. Any suggession will be useful. If my company who is sponsoring GC is ready to do anything what are the best options?.

Hi,
   I have my H1 valid untill end of 2003.If I go for CP and gets rejected say for some reason,then can I come back to US
   and stay untill my H1 expiry time or not
