CP & 485 Question..Help needed

Hi All, I have applied for 485 sometime back and I didn\'t get receipt for 3 months so I applied for CP. Now I got my EAD&AP and want to change comapny using 180 day rule. Would it be OK if I cancel CP and use 485 to join the new company using my EAD. I have read some where in this form that I-824 got approved even after sending the cancel request twice. What would be the case if that happens to me after changing the company. Any suggession will be useful. If my company who is sponsoring GC is ready to do anything what are the best options?.
 
Can u apply for CP and 485 at same time

Hi Gazala,
Can we apply for CP and 485 simultaneosly. Because I rememeber reading in an article that says we should not apply 485 for EAD and then apply CP for faster processing. So my guess would be to check up again with an attorney before u take a decision.
But just curious, can we apply for both. I mean did u make any research when u were applying.
