CP after getting the EAD

Hello ,
I am new member. About to apply for my I140/I485/I765 together.Confused and have one question.
Once I apply for my I140/I485/I765 together and lets say I get my EAD in 60 days and my I 140 after 6 months , at that point (assume my I 485 is still pending) I want to go for CP ,
can I do that? Is that legal . What will happen to the EAD.

To apply for CP you will have to file I-824 to transfer your petition from BCIS to NVC. Once you do that BCIS will consider your I-485 petition as withdrawn. If that happens all derivative benefits like EAD and AP will (probably)automatically be cancelled.
