Cover letter for reply of RFE

Hi,

My case just got an RFE. I still don't know the details. But, I wanted to get ready to send papers back asap as I'm going out of town for 2 weeks.

Anyways, Does anybody have a format of the cover letter sent to USCIS with the RFE reply?

What type of RFE you got and when? What's your RD-ND I485? Can you pl. post few characs. of your EAC as well?

No covering letter required

I do not think you would need a covering letter for simple RFE's like EVAL or brith certificate or pay stubs e.t.c. Just attach the ORIGINAL RFE document whichyou got from USCIS on the top as it has magnatic reader to locate your case number.

my Receipt number is is EAC-03-095-xxxxx (ND Feb 5 2003)

I still have no information on what the RFE is about. But mine is a AC-21 case. So, I'm 99% sure its related to AC-21. Thanks for the evaluation letter link.
