Couple of questions

Hi All,

I have applied for GC. My LC is with DOL and I have about 4 years experience in India.

1. I took experience letters from my boss in India who has shifted to a new company. Since he was not working for my previous employer anymore, he sent the letter without any letterhead? Is there any problem because of this?

2. I came to know that the company that I worked for in India has changed its name. What I am worried about is at what stage i.e LC or 140 would INS call the previous employers? How should I proceed?
 
You should wait and see what happens. If INS sends an RFE they will tell you what the problem is and what evidence they want you to send.

Could you please carify:

Do we need to submit all experinece letters at the time of applying LC?or at the time of I140/485?

What do you think are the chances of getting RFE? I also heard from some of my friends that there are many companies that have name changes either due to merger or acquisition. Sometimes solely for looking trendy(not uncommon with tech companies). Also, does it matter if experience letter comes from ex-boss who no longer works for the company.
