Hi there,
I am a F-1 student at the states and I am about to land shortly. Yet, still have questions regarding the process and would definitely appreciate if someone can lend a hand.
1, I am trying to leave my friend's address for the PR card mailing, and actually I would be driving back in no more than 2 days. I just read some threads regarding F-1 student landing, and it seems that, at least in some cases the officer would not process the PR. How to deal with? Honestly, I am trying to say I "plan" to stay for about 1 month. IF, I am not able to process the PR on the board, when my PR status would start to be counted. Also, doesn't any one know whether a Post Box is acceptable for such a process?
2, I don't want to declare my car at this time. Is this acceptable? May I put my car on the following list so that it can be duty-free? How to fill the forms for those clothes? Just write a lump sum?
Thanks a million in advance!
Good day~~
