Gurus,

Q1. EVL

On my Employment verification letter my employer put a line saying I will be permanent employee subject to at-will conditions of employment (i.e either side can terminate contract at 2 weeks notice). Here is the format of first paragraph - Nee your views whether this will cause any problems.

*******************
The purpose of this letter is to certify that Mr. ZZZZZ is currently employed with XXXXXXX on a full-time basis and will continue to be employed with XXXXXX as a full-time, permanent employee, subject to the at-will conditions of his employment , upon his return to the United States with the immigrant visa in the position of YYYYYYYYY.

Q2. DS230-PART2

Q3. I-134

rahul07,

Q1. You should be OK. A permanent job does not mean the
employer should keep you for life. But instead of keeping
silent about this your employer is playing it a little safe.

Q2. DS 230-Part II: 33(a)

Since she does not have the SS number no entry.

Say 'Yes' to the question 'Do you want the SSA to assign
you an SSN or issue you a new card.......

Q3. Cash surrender value:

Some of the insurance policies will have cash surrender value
at different stages of their life. If your insurance is of that
type, then enter the surrender value as of current date.

Question on I-134

Hi all.

Got this simple question on Form I-134 Item 1: since obviously I am not a native born US citizen and neither I fit in the a, b or c definitions, then the 'd' choice "I am a full admitted permanent resident" will be the one on my GC case. I wonder when the A number will be available for me? Does this number comes along with Packet 3?

Thanks

A# number is assigned to you after your CP interview is complete.
A number also shows up on your immigrant visa. You do not need A# for filling out I-134.
Under choice 'd', write "H1B STATUS".
